Shalini Passi’s secret diet for that skin, hair, teeth: Ghee paste and goat curd
Celery juice, beetroot juice, goat juice, A colorful game… Shalini Passi—the breakout star of the Netflix series ‘Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives’—follows a unique diet like the personality she brings to the reality show.
49-year-old Passi is an art collector, public health expert, social media enthusiast, and now reality TV star. the reason for his flamboyant personality goes beyond his obvious and obvious sartorial sensibilities. She was born as a girl who loves herself so much that she has no hatred towards other people because it finally affects her skin. No wonder he takes his diet seriously. There is no solid food in his daily diet; A few juices and soups rule the day, really.
When India Today Digital visited his palace in Delhi, spread over 20,000 square feet, Passi was drinking kala chana paani out of a barrel … through a straw, of course.
“I usually start my day with ghee. I drink ghee cream. Now, I have almonds and walnuts,” says Ananya Bhattacharya, Editor, Features, India Today Digitalin a special interview.
This is followed by beetroot juice mixed with amla and ginger.
He says: “I also have celery juice, red juice and sprout juice, which is basically the seeds of the plant that have been soaked without filtering. Chewing two bowls of vegetables can be hard work, right? To overcome that, he came up with the idea of pouring it all over with juice.
The juicing continues as he sips capsicum juice, made from different bell peppers. Avocado, a health powerhouse, is also part of Shalini Passi’s diet.

Later in the day, Passi treats himself to ragi or jowar chilla (earlier he had roti, but it was too dry).
From 4 to 6pm every day, she works out – one hour of dance followed by an hour of Pilates and weight training. He takes fresh fruit as his first meal before training.
Dinner includes a lot of vegetables, but everything in the form of soup.
“I repeat the same vegetables but in the form of a soup, uncooked and thick. This includes spinach and broccoli soup, tomato and capsicum soup, and vegetable soups like bhindi (lady’s finger), lotus stem, peas and leek,” he said. India Today.
On the days he doesn’t visit the temple (which he does around 9 p.m.), Passi eats egg, fish, or chicken for protein.
Then there is (yes, it sounds weird) goat’s heel. It is part of the Passi diet. He has it with him every day and takes it with him when he travels to places where it may not be available.
“I eat goat’s milk every day. I want my bones and teeth to be strong,” Passi tells us.
It was for the health of his teeth that he switched to drinking juices and soups with grass – see that again on the show!
“My dentist even asked me once if I had started chewing here because my teeth were stained with beetroot juice [I was having],” Pass the parts.
Passi is so obsessed with his food that he takes his vegetables with him when he visits Mumbai.
“Even surunamuns don’t taste good there,” Passi laughs.
Alcohol is a complete no-no for Passi, but you may see him with a glass of champagne at parties.
He says: “I don’t drink alcohol, but when I’m at a party, I grab a glass of champagne so that I don’t have to be served alcoholic drinks again and again.”
According to Passi, he is in high spirits and doesn’t need anything to feel better. How the day after drinking alcohol – that’s another reason he hates to drink.
“I naturally feel energized and I don’t crave sugar or carbs. However, when I’m on the go, I’d treat myself to a cake or my favorite dessert,” Passi says. .
Is it easy for Passi to follow this restrictive diet? Yes, because he gave up the “taste of food” so he could focus on work. In Passi’s words: “Sometimes, food becomes a distraction. For me, food is for sustenance, not for taste.
